The Power of Purification: A Guide to Harnessing the Energy of the Virgo Full Moon

1. Set Up Your Sacred Space: Tidy up your home. De-clutter. Find a quiet spot where you can set up your altar. You can use crystals, candles, flowers, and any other objects that represent the Virgo energy of purification, healing, and grounding. Cleanse the space with sage before starting the ritual.


2. Cleanse Your Energy: Take a shower or bath to cleanse your body and mind. You can also meditate or do some gentle yoga to ground yourself before the ritual.


3. Set Your Intentions: Take some time to write down on a piece of paper what you want to release during this full moon. Write down any fears, doubts, or negative thoughts that you want to let go of and release. First just write whatever comes to mind to clear your mind. Then look at any themes and simplify if possible. Write “I am now ready to let go of and release ___. I release this now.”

4. Meditation: Sit in meditation and focus on your breath. Visualize a bright white light surrounding you, purifying your body and mind. Envision yourself releasing all the negative thoughts and emotions you wrote down in your journal.

5. Burn the Blocks:When you're ready, light the piece of paper with a lighter or matches and place it in the fire-safe container. Be careful not to let the fire get out of control. Watch the paper burn and visualize your fears, worries, self criticism and anything else standing in the way of your goals being released into the universe. Stay present in the moment and feel into the energetic release.

6. Affirmations: Repeat positive affirmations to yourself, such as "I am grounded and centered", "I release all that no longer serves me", and "I am open to receiving abundance and blessings".

7. Gratitude: Express gratitude for everything that you have in your life. Thank the universe for the lessons you have learned, the people you have met, and the experiences you have had.

8. Closing the ritual: Blow out the candle to signify the end of the ritual. Take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to feel the weight lifted and the peace and serenity of the moment. You can dance shake or move around however feels nature. Let loose of any stagnant energy. You can also do some gentle stretching or movement to ground yourself before leaving your sacred space.
