Have a snack. Drink some water. Put your phone on do not disturb and get rid of any distractions if possible. Grab a journal, your notes app, or a private space you can speak out loud to yourself.

The Journal Prompts


1. What emotions am I currently experiencing? Write down all of the emotions that come to mind, without judgment.


2. What situations or triggers tend to bring up strong emotions for me? Explore any patterns you notice.


3. Are there any emotions that I try to suppress or ignore? Why do I do this, and what impact does it have on me? How can I give myself permission to express and honor these feelings in a healthy way?


4. What are some limiting beliefs that I hold about myself or my emotions? What habits, beliefs, or situations are no longer serving me? Where did these beliefs come from, and how do they hold me back?


5. What are some things that I need to let go of in order to move forward emotionally?  This could include grudges, regrets, or negative self-talk.


6. What relationships or connections in my life are in need of healing or closure? How can I approach these situations with compassion and clarity?


7. What shadow aspects of myself am I ready to confront and integrate? How can I embrace these aspects of myself with love and acceptance?


8. How can I connect more deeply with my intuition and inner wisdom? What practices can I incorporate into my life to cultivate this connection?
